  • 2016 Registrations Now Open

    Urunga Football Club logo smallCome and play football with the 2015 NCF Club of the Year.

    Registrations are now open.  On-line Registrations at www.urungafootballclub.com. Follow the prompts to complete registration.

    Club Registrar Vanessa Hogan, Ph 0412649649 will assist with any issues relating to registration or come to the Junior Fields on 13th Feb from 9-12 noon for assistance. New players required to show a birth certificate please.

     

    Something for all ages…

    5-7 years Mini-Roos, 4-a-side, everyone has fun learning the skills of the world game

    8-9 years modified rules with 7-a-side, non-competitive girls or unisex teams, playing other local area teams

    10-11 years play 9-a-side, non-competitive games against other local teams, girls or unisex

    12-17 years play full-sided, 11-a-side competition, male and female teams

    Seniors play in Reserve or First Grade men’s and women’s competition

     

    Free shorts and socks to all new junior players.

    Register and pay by the end of February and receive discounted fees and go into the prize draw.

  • Extraordinary General Meeting next Tuesday

    Next Tuesday, 8 December commencing 7 pm at Ocean View Hotel there will be extraordinary general meeting for Urunga Football Club with a purpose to reaffirm and, as necessary, reshuffle UFC Executive positions given the tragic loss of our President.

    We encourage all interested persons to attend and show support for the club.

    Venue: OVH on the upstairs verandah commencing 7pm

  • Guard of Honour

    Urunga Football Club deems it appropriate to honour Dixie and Rachel by forming a guard of honour along the roadside as the funeral procession leaves the venue after the service.

    We therefore ask those persons wishing to participate in forming a line along the roadside to please do so as quickly as practical after the service. The funeral procession shall be leaving the venue immediately after the service.

    UFC playing strips shall be available before the service for those persons wishing to wear them.  Phil Fogarty or Cathy Jarrett shall arrive early at the venue with them.

    In addition, please note the change in venue to Macksville School Stadium

    Sadly missed by David, Mavis, Jessica, Andrew & Sarah, Crystal & Sharna, Sam, Sandra & John, Neville & Maureen, Patti & Shane and all the extended family and friends.

    Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Dixie & Rachel’s Funeral Service at

    entry via Park St, Macksville
    On Saturday 28th November, 2015
    Commencing at 10.00am

    Followed by Interment in the Macksville Cemetery and then a Wake at Macksville Uniting Church, Wallace St, Macksville.

    Catch up games for 6 A Side summer competition will be held on Monday 23 November.  The draw details are on our web site at www.urungafootball.com

    These are games that were not be played on 5 November due to weather.

    We recognise that Dixie would have wanted the competition to continue to on.  For all junior competitions (8-9, 10-12, & 13-14), the contact is Cathy Jarrett m. 0427501958 registrar@urungafootball.com

    We look forward to seeing you at the fields on Monday and appreciate your support through this difficult time.  We will be taking a minutes silence at the beginning of each game.

    Dixie ErlandsenWith much sorrow we advise the passing of our beloved President, Dixie Erlandsen, & her daughter, Rachel, in a fatal car accident at Valla on Friday afternoon 20th November.
